Although they often look carefully crafted and professionally lit, many of Afshin's photographs of Prince are taken on the fly. At any moment he might have an opportunity, or see a great setting he would get Prince's attention if he could. Because Prince was so often "camera-ready" with his look meticulously crafted, these off the cuff shots might produce the next album cover or magazine spread.

This shot was captured inside an empty trailer that previously held all the sound equipment for the Musicology Tour. After a handful a pictures he darted off to sound check.
