This lively redhead is fresh-faced and frolicsome as she readies herself for an evening's adventure. "Black Satin" offers a tantalizing medley of sensuous textures and glowing skin tones.  Modeled by the lovely Jeanne Dean.

Originally published in the Esquire Calendar for October, 1942. The original artwork is part of the permanent collection at the Julia Spencer Museum at the University of Kansas.
