Helen Henderson, a beautiful showgirl of the Ziegfeld stage displays an air of confidence while she runs an ivory comb through her dark wavy hair. Painted in 1928, Vargas subtly captured the relaxed and confident attitude of this young woman who seems to say, "I've made it to the top - I'm a Broadway star!"
The original artwork was featured at our debut exhibit of Alberto Vargas artworks in 1985.
