Whenever Barbara and Steve McQueen drove past a landscape that was particularly scenic, Barbara would demand that Steve stop the car so they could snap some photos. Here, Steve sits between strands of buttery grass, leaning against the wooden poles of a fence. He has his eyes closed and almost looks on the verge of sleep. All that driving to Montana was tiring, afterall!
