Steve McQueen and this dog Junior were kindred spirits. The stray mutt squirmed his way into Steve's heart, and would often keep him company while on set. After Tom Horn wrapped, the dog came up missing, which led the couple to speculate that perhaps one of the crew members had done something to him, since Junior was notorious on set for biting. Steve was devastated by his disappearance.
