Bob Dylan in Joan Baez's dressing room prior to a show in 1964. Baez was an important advocate for Dylan, recording several of his early songs and inviting him onstage during her own concerts. The couple was also prominent in the civil rights movement, performing together at the March on Washington on August 28, 1963.
