About the image

A collage designed by Caroline Grimshaw, Paul McCartney's Art Director since 1989, using hand-written lyrics to "Carry That Weight" and McCartney's greeting to a German audience (written in German) during his record-setting World Tour from 2002-2003, superimposed over photographs by Bill Bernstein.

These collages are printed on a special paper with a silver metallic foil surface that shimmers and reflects light differently, depending on the opacity of the ink in the image printed on the surface. This creates a fabulous variety of visual textures that adds an even more captivating layer to this unusual piece.

Collector's Note:
All of the artwork from the Each One Believing Collection was only available for collectors to purchase between 2004 and 2006, at exclusive exhibitions held in select galleries around the world.

While these pieces are not specifically numbered editions, they are limited to only the quantity that were sold to collectors during those brief exhibitions. Proceeds from the sales of all artwork went to the Adopt-A-Minefield Charitable organization in an effort to help rid the world of land mines.

EACH ONE IS HAND-SIGNED BY PAUL MCCARTNEY.

SFAE hosted this exhibition in April 2006. As all the works were pre-sold, the ONLY pieces that are available come from private collectors wishing to resell their pieces.

Please contact us for specific availability on these very rare and highly collectible artworks!

Buyers will receive a certificate of authenticity following the delivery of their artwork.
