Audrey Hepburn displays her affection for Pippin, her pet deer that went by the nickname Ip, on the set of Green Mansions, circa 1958. The animal trainer on Green Mansions had suggested that Hepburn take Ip home with her so that he would learn to follow her. Therefore, it was not uncommon for Beverly Hills residents to see Hepburn accompanied around town by this lovely animal, including at the supermarket.
