Guitarist Robbie Robertson, Beat poets Michael McClure and Allen Ginsberg, and Bob Dylan share a smoke outside City Lights Bookstore, circa 1965.The session was later dubbed "The Last Gathering of the Beats" which was something of a misnomer, as the poets were still relatively young at the time, and there were many more "gatherings" afterward.
