Keith Richards poses playfully for photographer Dominique Tarle at the Esso station near his home. 

This image was captured in 1971, when the Stones were recording Exile on Main Street in the south of France.

Dominique Tarlé first began offering his fine-art photographs of the Rolling Stones during their time in France in 2001, when his beautiful limited-edition book "EXILE" was published.

His black-and-white images are printed as beautiful silver gelatins (unless otherwise noted). The color images are digital C-type prints.

Because he lived with the Stones and captured such unique and beautiful images at such an important time for the band, his whole archive has always been popular with rock photography collectors. His work has been celebrated and exhibited around the world, and several pieces are sold out, or very nearly gone.
