About the image
The Who rehearse in support of their 1973 rock opera, Quadrophenia, which can be seen as a social history about early 1960s adolescent life in London. The story is about a boy named Jimmy, his struggle for self-esteem, his conflicts with his family and others, and his mental illness.

This is one of those iconic Rock n Roll shots that captures the amazing energy these musicisans put into their performances.
