About the image
"The Beatles posing for publicity supporting the 'Our World' global satellite broadcast set for the following day, June 25, 1967.

'Our World' was the first live, world-wide satellite program with artists from 19 different countries performing for an international audience estimated at 400-700 million. The Beatles performed ""All You Need Is Love"", which was broadcast from a crowded Studio Two at EMI Studios. The song was written using simple language and concepts in order to be more easily understood by the international audience. It was later released on the US album, Magical Mystery Tour.

The band invited many friends, including The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, and Marianne Faithfull to join in the chorus and add to the atmosphere."
