About the image

"There’s something about it. If I die and I gotta go to St. Peter, and I’ve gotta take one piece to get in, it would be that." -- Herb Greene

The Acid Age of San Francisco Rock Series
This photograph is part of a portfolio of 39 images that Herb Greene curated to capture the local music scene that launched the Summer of Love.

Release Notes:
Herb Greene's museum-quality photographs were produced as signed, limited edition silver gelatin prints in several sizes from 11" x 14" (open edition in this size) to 30" x 40".

Collector's Notes:
Herb Greene's beautiful hand-signed photographs were printed to order. At the time of his death a very small quantity had been pre-printed and signed for exhibition and/or sale. These pieces are what now make up his estate archive.
