Lead singer and rhythm guitarist Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders on stage at Hammersmith Odeon in London, circa 1984. This was the year the group released Learning to Crawl after a two-year hiatus, during which time band members James Honeyman-Scott and Pete Farndon both died from drug overdoses.
