David Bowie performing at Newcastle City Hall on January 7th, 1973, just prior to the release of his landmark album, Aladdin Sane . This follow-up to his breakthrough "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust" and the "Spiders from Mars"  featured the hit singles "The Jean Genie," "Panic in Detroit," and "Drive-In Saturday."
