Jeff Beck helped redefine the sound and role of the electric guitar in rock music.

This performance shot of the notoriously private guitar legend was taken at the Crystal Palace Bowl in 1973, while a member of the group Beck, Bogert & Appice. The power trio consisted of Beck (The Yardbirds, The Jeff Beck Group), Tim Bogert (Vanilla Fudge, Cactus) and Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge, Cactus).
