About the image
For over four decades guitar virtuoso Carlos Santana has excited audiences with his pioneering blend of rock, salsa and jazz fusion.

In 1998, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, where he performed his signature hit "Black Magic Woman" with the writer of the song, Fleetwood Mac's founder Peter Green.

This image was from a photo-session commissioned by Guitar Player Magazine, which produced a cover image published on the August, 1999 issue.
