About the image
Jerry Schatzberg's infamous send-up of the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band cover was Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention's choice for the cover of their classic We're Only In It For The Money. Unfortunately, the record label chose a tamer shot and instead it was used inside.

When Rykodisc re-released the disc in the mid-'90s, Schatzberg's photo did make it to the front.
