John Lennon of The Beatles performing at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, August 31, 1965. This was the final stop of their 1965 North American tour. The Beatles would return to San Francisco almost exactly one year later to perform their last live concert at the now legendary Candlestick Park on August 29, 1966.
