Recorded over three nights at the Keystone Korner in San Francisco, Marshall shot each night and used infrared film, shooting multiple exposures. The shot captured the rarity of Kirk’s ability to play several instruments at once and the album is considered the definitive document of his live performances and his best album of the 1970’s.
