Buddy Guy, Hold That Plane Album Cover, 1972
By Joel Brodsky
About the image
Joel Brodksy was considered a master technician, illustrated by his interest in multiple exposure shots. Among them was this one of Buddy Guy that served as the front cover of the five-time Grammy Award-winning blues guitarist's 1972 album, Hold That Plane . The photograph reveals Brodsky's fine handling of color tones and the sculptural quality of much of his work.
