The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Guitar God, 1967

Karl Ferris' recreation of his concept design for Jimi Hendrix's Are You Experienced? double gatefold cover. This uses the next shot on the roll to the one on the released cover, and was shot with a Nikon F from a lower-angle, with a fish-eye lens. Although it was loved by Jimi, it was not used by Reprise Records, who would only release a cheaper single-album and asked Karl for a single cover design instead.
