About the image
In the midst of the first leg of the Rolling Thunder Revue Tour at venues in the Northeast USA, Dylan and Ginsberg took some time out to visit the legendary Beat Poet’s gravesite in his hometown of Lowell Massachusetts. During their stay, Ginsberg read aloud from Kerouac’s Mexico City Blues, a book of poetry that particularly affected Dylan in the late 1950s.
