Milwaukee Braves outfielder Hank Aaron during batting practice at Shea Stadium, the former home of the New York Mets c. 1964, the debut year of the legedary stadium. Major League Baseball also held the All Star Game at Shea Stadium that year, in which Aaron also appeared.
Aaron made the All-Star team every year from 1955 until 1975 and won three Gold Glove Awards. He is widely considered one of the greatest baseball players of all-time.
