About the image

Graphic artist Klaus Voormann was a trusted Beatles confidante, designing the cover art for the ground-breaking Revolver, (winning that year's Grammy Award for Best Album Cover - Graphic Design for his effort), and playing bass on their best solo albums.

This original drawing was a mockup for a piece that appeared in Mojo magazine and is based on the original Revolver layout, only each of The Beatles have aged a bit more than they appeared on the 1966 piece.
