About the image
A studio portrait of Bruce Springsteen taken in New York City, circa 1978. By this time, Springsteen had earned a reputation in the music world as a songwriter whose material could provide hits for other bands. "Because the Night," a single Springsteen wrote during the sessions for Darkness on the Edge of Town but left off the album, ended up being a hit for the Patti Smith Group this same year.

COLLECTOR'S NOTE: Lynn Goldsmith only produces 20 original prints from any single negative so there is only one edition of 20 pieces for any of her photographs.

Prices depend on how many have sold so far, and the size you want.  Please contact us for the latest information on this piece (and if you have a size preference please let us know).
