About the image

Keith and Bill play the cello together at Olympic Studios. Keith recalled they were recording "Ruby Tuesday" and said, "It took two of us to play it. We found out if you're not actually a cello player it takes at least two guys to play the thing." (from The Early Stones, Hyperion 1992)

"Ruby Tuesday" was released as a single in January 1967 and included on the US version of Between the Buttons which they recorded at Olympic Studios in November and December of 1966.

Release Notes:
Michael Cooper passed away in 1973 leaving a massive personal and professional archive of negatives shot going back to the mid 1960s. Very few, if any photographs had been printed in a commercial fomat by that time, so there are no signed versions available for sale.

The Michael Cooper Estate has released museum-quality limited editions in several sizes and made them available for collectors.

Collector's Notes:
The Michael Cooper Estate photographs are printed to order, so please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. Each photograph will be numbered and marked by the estate.

Buyers will receive a certificate of authenticity following delivery of their photograph.
