The Rolling Stones headlined the free festival "The Stones in the Park" at London's Hyde Park on July 5, 1969. An audience of over 250,000 people attended this event, which was The Rolling Stones first live performance in two years and was originally organized to introduce Mick Taylor as the new guitarist, replacing Brian Jones. Sadly, Jones had been found dead only days before, so the event became a memorial celebration of his life.

Release Notes:
Michael Cooper passed away in 1973 leaving a massive personal and professional archive of negatives shot going back to the mid 1960s. Very few, if any photographs had been printed in a commercial fomat by that time, so there are no signed versions available for sale. 

The Michael Cooper Estate has released museum-quality limited editions in several sizes and made them available for collectors.
