A portrait of David Bowie on the set of the Life on Mars music video shoot. Mick Rock not only was Bowie's personal photographer who traveled with him on several legs of the Ziggy Stardust tour, but he also captured images for use on album sleeves, in magazines/newspapers, advertisements/tour posters, and several music videos. The filming took place in England in the midst of his final Ziggy Stardust tour.
