About the image
David Bowie captured in a thoughtful portrait sitting by a window, holding a glass, in his home in South London. This was Mick Rock's second official photo-session with Bowie, after immediately bonding when they first met. After their first session Bowie noted that Mick "got" him and somehow knew how to capture the look he was going for.
