Janis Joplin performs with Big Brother and the Holding Company at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival. Two songs from their set were filmed: "Combination of the Two" and a version of Big Mama Thornton's "Ball and Chain" appeared in D.A. Pennebaker's documentary, Monterey Pop.
