About the image
Prudence Farrow is show here (lower left) sitting in a lineup with Pattie Boyd, Ringo Starr and Maureen Starkey, and Jane Asher behind her.
"Dear Prudence" is a song about actress Mia Farrow's sister, Prudence, who was present when the Beatles visited India in 1968. Prudence, focused on meditation, stayed in her room for the majority of their stay. John Lennon, who was worried that she was depressed, wrote this song for her, inviting her to "come out to play."
