About the image
Mia Farrow grins cheekily into the camera whilst holding a puppy up against her chest. Mia, her brother John and her sister Prudence were all at the ashram with the Beatles in '68. In fact, the Beatles song 'Dear Prudence' was originally written as a light-hearted ditty to coax Prudence out of her room during the retreat. Prudence had become very involved in her meditative practices and refused to come out of her room for weeks. 'Dear Prudence' successfully ended her isolation as she emerged smiling upon hearing the Beatles' serenade.
