Perfect Harmony - Ringo Starr, John Lennon & Paul McCartney, Rishikesh, India, 1968

Ringo, John and Paul sit on the steps to their bungalow at an ashram in Rishikesh, India. Ringo is wearing his favorite heavy gold-brocade Nehru jacket while John and Paul are in traditional all-white Indian clothing. Paul Saltzman took this photo through a chain-link fence before summoning the courage to go inside and photograph them up-close. Paul and John were playing acoustic guitars and singing fragments of songs including, 'Michelle', 'All You Need Is Love', 'Norwegian Wood' and 'Eleanor Rigby'.
