As a final unmasking of Mick’s self-administered hair adjustments, I am particularly proud of its use as a double page at the centre of the Sticky Fingers super deluxe book accompanying the album’s re-release this year. This 1971 session was a perfect capturing of the band and its disparate individual characters. At the time the band was considered to be at an equivalent arrival at musical perfection.
