Keith Richards with Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham in Chelsea during the early 1960s. This was the period prior to their first recording contract. During the session, photographer Philip Townsend bought the group barbecued chickens and set about fostering the semi-delinquent image which they still cultivate today.
