Keith Richards Portrait, 1977

By Richard E Aaron
About the image
A portrait of Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, one rich with atmosphere, taken at one of the free concerts he put on for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind in 1977. Richards had been arrested in Toronto for heroin possession earlier that year. After much publicity, he received a suspended sentence but was ordered to play two free concerts.

When Richard Aaron passed away in 2016, he left a small archive of signed photographs behind, which are now available for sale. Please contact us to inquire whether this piece is available in this collection!

Estate authorized photographs are now available as limited edition prints in 2 sizes listed below. A larger size may also become available, please inquire if you are interested in something larger.

Estate limited editions are printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Pearl, 100% cotton paper fine art paper. They are each hand-numbered, and will bear the estate chop mark and a signature stamp in the margin.
