Author Ken Kesey, best known for his novels One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Sometimes A Great Notion, relaxes on the floor of his home in Springfield, Oregon in January, 1970. Kesey was one of the more prominent counter-cultural figures. He also was a pivotal link between the "beat generation" of the 1950s and the "hippies" of the 1960s.

Robert Altman's photographs were printed in the San Francisco Bay Area to order. The photographs were signed and numbered by him and buyers receive a certificate of authenticity following delivery.
