Author Ken Kesey, best known for his novels One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Sometimes A Great Notion, relaxes on the floor of his home in Springfield, Oregon in January, 1970. Kesey was one of the more prominent counter-cultural figures. He also was a pivotal link between the "beat generation" of the 1950s and the "hippies" of the 1960s. 

Release Notes:
Robert Altman's printed his museum quality photographs to order in the San Francisco Bay Area. The photographs were signed, limited editions, available in several sizes ranging from 11" x 14" to 30" x 40. Each photograph was hand-signed and numbered by Robert before shipping.

Collector's Notes:
Robert Altman donated his photographic archive and copyrights to the UC Berkeley Bancroft Library in 2018, so these photographs will no longer be produced.
