This piece is referred to as a preliminary work or "study" because it is was created in the design and layout process for the limited edition release called "Satisfaction I & II" from 2002.
Ronnie created each of the portraits that appear in that montage, individually. He liked the Mick and Keith studies so well, they were produced as their own editions the following year.

This limited edition print was published in 2003. Each museum-quality artwork was hand titled, signed, and numbered by Ronnie Wood shortly thereafter.
