This latest series of Stones works is perhaps the best example of the intimate place from which Ronnie's art speaks. This time he is not describing the musician, the performer, or the rock star. No, this time he has chosen to tell you the story of who The Stones are deep in their hearts and along the way gives them a little joking poke in the side as only a brother can do. It includes Gypsy Ronnie, Pirate Keith, Sir Mick & Cotton Club Charlie.

These are Intaglio prints with Chine Collé which is a printmaking technique in which the image is transferred onto a surface that is bonded onto a heavier support in the printing process. In this case the image is applied onto Khadi handmade paper which is bonded (via Chine colle) onto Somerset Textured 300gsm art paper.
This limited edition print was published in 2008. Each museum-quality artwork was hand titled, signed, and numbered by Ronnie Wood shortly thereafter.
