About the image

Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts is captured with his back facing the spectator. Known for his characteristic shyness, Watts is often credited with being a steady influence on the Rolling Stones - and the glue that held the band together during a tumultuous period in the 1980's.

The Others Suite:
In this series of images, Ronnie Wood pays tribute to his fellow bandmates and people who inspired him in music. The suite includes portraits of Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts, Darryl Jones, and John Lennon.
