About the image

Bob Dylan performing alone onstage at the Newport Folk Festival, 1963. This was the year "Dylan became Dylan" as some say. It was during the closing number that Peter Paul & Mary, along with Pete Seeger, Joan Baez and The Freedom Singers all joined him onstage to perform Dylan's 'Blowin' in the Wind'. It was the event that officially put Dylan on the map.
