About the image
The very suave and debonair Mick Jagger, never one to turn his back on temptation, fails to recognize the threatening wasp on his hat in this print that evokes one of the Rolling Stones' greatest songs, "Sympathy for the Devil."

"In a way the wasp is a menacing threat, a symbol for Lucifer, maybe he's going to destroy the innocence of young Mick. For me, this image was my way to play a bit with the allegory of Eve and the snake." - Sebastian Krüger

Sebastian Krüger's subjects are generally artists he admires and his portraits, while caricatures, always contain a great deal of kindness while at the same time thoroughly subverting "the world of beautiful appearances." This contradiction is at the heart of Krüger's work, a characteristic that has made him extremely popular with art connoisseurs all over the world.

Each piece is signed and numbered by Sebastian Kruger.
