The complete set of four separate colorized portraits of each of The Beatles, taken in Liverpool in late 1963. Hatami was sent to Liverpool by Paris Match
magazine to cover the Beatlemania phenomenon, where he managed to gain access backstage at the legendary Cavern Club and shot several amazing images of the "Fab Four" both together and individually, as seen here.
This magnificent set captures the four incredible talents that merged to form the most important and successful musical group of all time. The different tones set them apart as individuals, while the combination magnifies their collective brilliance in a visual harmony of vibrant colors.
Each of the photographs in this suite have been produced in one size/one edition of twenty-five pieces. Each edition was fully printed, signed, and numbered by Shahrokh Hatami prior to his death in 2017.
These archival pigment prints feature a soft matte finish and are printed on soft white paper.
Twenty of each of the individual portrait editions have been reserved for sale in the matched-number suites or portfolios offered on this page. The remaining five are being made available for sale as individual photographs - seen here: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr
