About the image
A youthful Ringo Starr backstage at the Cavern Club, circa 1963. Hatami was sent to Liverpool by Paris Match magazine to cover the Beatlemania phenomenon, where he managed to gain access backstage at the legendary Cavern Club and shot several amazing images of the "Fab Four" both individually, and together as seen here.

Besides being a consistent drummer, Starr was also featured as lead singer on a number of successful Beatles songs, including "With a Little Help from My Friends" and "Yellow Submarine."
