Actress and magazine cover girl Sharon Tate, who was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her performance in 1967's "Valley of the Dolls".

Tragically, in 1968, while eight-and-a-half months pregnant, she was murdered in her home, along with four others, by followers of Charles Manson.
