About the image
This photograph of the pyramids of Egypt in Giza was part of the 20th Anniversary edition of Dark Side of the Moon. The Great Pyramid of Cheops, the largest pyramid ever built, is listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the World and was chosen as an appropriate symbol of ambition and madness, whilst resembling the shape of the prism on the original Dark Side cover.
