The Steve Miller Band, Bingo Album Cover, 2010

About the image
"I imagined that twin guitar solos and vocal exchanges in a rock setting was a bit like a duel from a Western. Instead of exchanging bullets, they were swapping notes, or variations of notes. One of the great things about the vocal exchange is rhyming. So, in Bingo! the objects that rhyme verbally or spatially. So one is throwing chairs and pairs and bears, and the other is shooting circles. This image was shot in the same location as A Fistful of Dollars and I personally find it very peculiar." - Storm Thorgerson
Collector's Notes:
In 2010 Storm selected several of his favorite album cover designs to release as large mural-sized limited edition prints. Several of these pieces were installed in a long-term exhibition at YouTube's corporate offices in San Bruno, CA.
