UFO, Phenomenon Album Cover, 1974

The front cover of Phenomenon, the third studio album by UFO. Designed by hand-coloring a black-and-white photograph, it tells the story of a suburban couple who attempt to fake a UFO picture. Directly above the husband is a hubcap, intended to be confused as a flying saucer. The housewife is holding a camera. She is annoyed because we've caught her in the act, snapped her taking a fake photo of something she will later purport to be real.
