This shot was taken for Crawdaddy magazine in Los Angeles. On Lennon's chest is a pin that says "Back To Mono," a popular slogan at the time, which eventually became the name of a compilation of the recorded work of record producer Phil Spector. Spector produced the Beatles' 1970 album,
